The long awaited work on the post office is 99% complete. Lancaster Built Homes did a great job cleaning, painting and making numerous general repairs to the building and the smelly gas space heaters have been replaced by a modern heating and air conditioning system. Hopefully the building will be in good shape for years to come.

Quite frankly, our experience was much less stressful than we anticipated. Communication with the builder was very important to us and P.R. Lancaster and his staff were always available to answer any of our questions. We like so many things about our house, that this is a difficult question. The custom millwork and all the built-in cabinetry is probably our favorite feature of the house. I don’t know where to begin my accolades. The additions to our house far exceeded our expectations as to what could be accomplished. I began the project with trepidation; having worked with other contractors during my business career. However from day one, dealing with you and your associates has been a pleasure. Your attitude of doing whatever is necessary to please the client extends to your staff and sub-contractors. Communication was open and responses prompt. I fondly remember you barefoot on the roof of the addition on a rainy Sunday morning, solving an unanticipated problem. Service like this is priceless, and well beyond what others provide. The only problem is getting my wife, Paula, out of the new additions occassionally. She spends virtually all her free time in the Four Seasons or Sitting rooms. When not in them; she is usually admiring how they look. While I’ve gained beautiful rooms that look as if they were part of the original building; I’ve “lost” my wife to the charm of your job!
